Lord, thank You for clothing me in Your love today. Help my heart reflect Your character and show Your grace to everyone I meet. Amen.

Colossians 3:12 — “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”

We are not just forgiven — we are chosen, holy, and dearly loved. God calls us to wear the character of Christ like clothing that others can see. Compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience aren’t personality traits — they are intentional actions rooted in how God has treated us. When we step into each day remembering we are fully loved by God, we can extend that love freely. Clothing ourselves in these virtues means choosing grace even when irritation rises, responding with kindness even when others don’t deserve it, and allowing humility to replace pride. It’s a daily decision to reflect God rather than reacting from our flesh.

Father, help me to put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience today. When my emotions want to take over, remind me of who I am in You — chosen and dearly loved. Let Your love be what people experience when they encounter me. Help me to lay aside selfishness, pride, and irritation, and instead walk boldly in the character of Christ. May my actions be a testimony of Your transforming power at work in me. Amen.
